Just wanted to take a moment and explain a little design detail that makes a huge difference in the quality of your boxers - the concept of the "covered elastic waist." Lets start with the elastic. The elastic we use is high quality grade which makes it super soft, yet retain its elasticity. So why cover it? By wrapping the elastic with the fabric, it not only makes your boxers look incredibly luxurious, it makes them last twice as long as your usual boxer, and its much softer and much more luxurious.

Brents in the San Fernando Valley. Sunday at around 1 PM. Of course there was a wait.. so we ordered it To GO, and had our yummy out front on the mini patio set. Had to share.. Now I'm really hungry.

But I will say Langer's tops Brents. Why? Slices are think and juicy.... and fatty.
Brent's slices are super thin (which is delish too), but not as fatty.. which for some is better.

I'm absolutely in love with the Central Coast of California. We spent the last weekend in San Louis Obispo.. and already I want to go back! We stayed at the Sanitarium, and the room was so sexy it was unbearable. All in white, the bed is surrounded by flowly curtains, and take a look at the bath tub. And breakfast, goodness, chef Suzanne Lindell makes the most incredible organic dishes... see that photo.. yeah, all fresh. Another highlight-- going to the hot springs, shopping at the local farms, and pizza at Full of Life. I want to do it again!! Oh yeah, please note, the hubby is wearing Zic & Cha Cha boxers (of course!) lol.

I will post a video of the Sanitarium.. its so delicious. They even have a portion of the house dedicated to your artistic desires. Relax, paint, and get fully fed, and feel sexy at the same time.. how good is that?

I absolutely love the next day morning air after it rains. Addicting really. Makes me want to go outside & run through the hills. But of course, I'm not going to do that... instead, just sit and take a moment to enjoy the now. Everything flies by so fast doesn't it? Already... we are celebrating our next Thanksgiving, then Christmas Holiday Season.. then NEW YEARS.

I will say though, this year, please please please remember to take note of the people in front of you - not on your cell, not on your blackberry.

Let go, I know its addicting. I've cleaverly avoided use of the blackberry/smarphones. Yes, its true - I only use the basic. I figure, when I am working, I want my full body and mind, at work. If I am at dinner/ lunch/ or with a friend - I'm spending time with them.

This is especially important for our new generation of moms and dads. So often I see a hurried suburban soccer mom, chatting on her cell, dragging her kids along. A few minutes is fine, but what about when you're having lunch? Then I glance over at the children, they're happily on some mini computer TV... really?

Are we that bored of our children?

Well I figure that if they are still sending these via email, some people out there maybe desparate enough to reply -- but maybe they'll google first and see its a scam. What I've Learned about Jury Duty

So, you've gotten a Jury Duty Summons in the mail. And what does it say? It says you are a Trial Juror. As a Trial Juror, you are required to call the day before your start date, and see if you have to show up. You do this for a whole week, but miss ONE DAY, and its over. It was a Thursday-- I forgot to call them Thursday night. The consequences? You're actually summons to court. That's me today, at the Sylmar Courthouse in Van Nuys... LIVE!

So if you're a felon, you automatically get to go home - sucks.
Oh and if you're on disability - you never have to appear, ever.

The lesson for today? If you're late... its ok, don't worry. I got here at 9:00 and we're still not doing anything. Well, some guy is explaining how to fill out the form... but, I'm not listening.

Staying at Ace Hotel. Have you been? We're avid fans of the one in Palm Springs, CA so decided to check out the one in New York. Yes, I love.

P.S. They've got the best coffee in town. Cleverly they've set up the hotel lobby as a coffee shop rendezvous hangout. Lots of busy bees with apple computers galore. Our recommendation? Stumptown coffee cappuccino + focaccia + these mini bacon wrapped croissants. Correction, maple butter bacon.

The other day, a friend of mine, was going through the possible "what ifs" of dating....then the various "what does blah mean" scenarios. I can only take so much of this. (Sorry, I'm a little insensitive at times, but truly a romantic at heart. I do after all like John Croce). All I have to say is, men after the age of 25 don't really make "girl" friends (unless they are gay). Yeah, its true.... my husband would be in deep trouble if he started having "girl" friends texting him at night, I can assure you of that. And if your so called date stops calling, there's only one reason - he's over it, so you should be to.

Today has been so busy at work, but still I make time to exercise. (Some marketing genius should create a new word for exercise, market it as fun & exhilarating, instead of laborious and tiresome. Maybe exercise backwards - Esicrexe..ok, nevermind.) No time to go yoga, so I've resorted to a little running. (OK honestly, I'm not much of a runner, so its really... I'm walking briskly, then running for 5 seconds, then back to walking). But I feel perfect afterwards. It makes a difference. So go out there! Go for a walk!

Ok - seriously I cannot get enough of the Pointer Sisters - especially this Neutron Dance song. Did you know? They were here this past weekend at the Greek Amphitheater. My fiance surprised me and took me to the show. Love him. And Adore him. Its the perfect wake me up song... I do a little workout dance in the morning, while brushing my teeth. So yeah, I probably only burned like 15 calories - but nonetheless, it feels good to dance. (And yes, I want each one of their outfits).

This is hilarious. Back in September 2009, we wrote a blog about how mens underwear is actually a leading economic indicator. Now, fast forward to 2010, CNBC seems to think the same-- article titled: Are We in a Recovery? Check the Underwear vs. Our title : Underwear + No Holes = Economic Recovery. This is surely a coincidence.

Turns out these two combined are a positive leading economic indicator, signaling a recovery - who knew. The reason? Apparently, when times are tough, men are so selfless... they skimp on buying new underwear, which is probably why women end up buying underwear for men as gifts. Its an oh so sweet/ yet polite way of saying, "I love you, but really those old man boxers of yours from 95 have to go." Its not so cute when your boxers have about five different holes down the middle of the crotch area. Right? Especially when you're over the age of 25--- BUT, when men do have the mulah to treat themselves right, no holes - amazing. I guess, if you think about it... underwear is not just an economic indicator for our nation's economy, but also an economic indicator of your man's wallet. So take a peek at your lover's boxers, just to see. Holes = hes not economically ready. No holes = Hes set, dine wherever you want. Tip for you guys out there: Throw out those old boxers -- its bad Sex Me Up Karma.

There have been a lot of quirky economic indicators bandied about of late, from sales of lipstick to pick-up trucks — with varied results.

But men’s underwear sales even have the endorsement of former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan, since they tend to be one of the first things men stop buying when times get tough.

“Guys don’t buy underwear unless they absolutely need it,” said Marshal Cohen, chief industry analyst with NPD Group.

So, while companies are offering up signs of recovery in their latest earnings reports, we wondered: What does the underwear drawer say?

“I think men’s underwear sales are in recovery mode,” said Michael Kleinmann, president of FreshPair.com, an online underpants shop.

He says customers had been hunkering down during the recession, buying a lot of the value (i.e., cheaper) brands and going for the multipacks when they did.

But things started to turn around in the first quarter.

“I started to notice the underwear business gain some momentum probably about five months ago,” Cohen said.

Men’s underwear sales are up about 8 to 9 percent this quarter from a year ago, according to NPD, after sliding 4 to 6 percent during the recession.

Men’s undershirts in particular are seeing strong sales, benefiting from the trend of the undershirt as a regular piece of clothing as well as the recovery in sales of the item as an undergarment.

Over at FreshPair.com, men’s underwear sales are up a whopping 40 percent year-to-date, double the growth in the women’s category. True to trend, the more expensive brands like Calvin Klein, Diesel and 2(x)ist are also starting to see a pickup in demand.

“The customer, I think, is shifting back to the brand they used to buy,” Kleinmann said.

And, underwear makers are taking notice: They’re expanding their product lines with more colors, more prints and more fabrics and even introducing new categories — like shapewear for men.

Spanx, which is known for its line of lady-slimming products, just debuted its men’s line —Man Spanx — in May.

Yes, we’re talking about mirdles (man girdles) but there’s so much more: Another hot category is underwear that enhances everything from the butt to the, ahem, frontal profile.

Oh, and this recovery comes just in time: National Underwear Day is coming in early August.

Today today today. Its one of those days where its cloudy, but the sun shines so brightly through the clouds, that all you see is this bright silver glaring light all around you. Good or bad? Depends on what time it is.

Working on the new collection today for our kids line. How freakin cute will that be? Concept, matching pajama boxers for Daddy & me & Mommy!

Why pajama boxers?
Well, first of all boxers are just fun, and cute. And pajamas, well, those are just a necessity of life for both men & women. Then I thought, well, what man really wears pajama pants>!!> Men usually get so hot in bed. So I decided to design some fun pajamas with the boxer short cut. So yeah, there is a slit in the front for the mens (and the womens). But the fabric we use, is not the traditional men's boxer kinda fabric. Much much MUCH more high end. For the cottons, the fabric is much thicker... almost like the pajamas you have now in your closet, so cotton, warm, comfy. Its a fun and an oh so adorable gift for couples in love.

Speaking of couples. My baby is sick.. with the flu. Thinking about making him some homemade chicken soup. Yeah, for those of you who know me.. um.. hes the only man that has inspired me to venture into the kitchen.

So tonight, after you & he are ready for bed, give him a little vamping.

Tell him to just lie there & close his eyes. Make sure his head & neck are laid back on a nice kushy pillow. No music, just breath deeply and heavily. (This slows down the heartrate.) Start massaging at the brows and move outwards towards the temples. (You know, like when you're getting a facial). Then, move to the scalp and neck. Mix up the vamping, go slow then fast; apply pressure then caress lightly. After a few minutes (it really depends on how long you want to do it for) end with the ears. Lightly pinch the lobes & rub - its an ultimate favorite.

Let him lie there for a couple minutes, giving him some time for all the yumminess to sink in. Then tell him its your turn. (he hee hee.) He'll love to do it, but you may need to give him some guidance.

Introducing Ritratti. (Here at Zic & Cha Cha, we love all types of underwear.. why? Well, quite frankly, I don't eat only one type of cheese, or one type of hamburger - I like the best of everything.) So back to Ritratti. If you go to their blog, you'll find some ultra sexy lingerie, but really, its their everyday bra that wows me - makes your breast perky & happy without an underwire. Name: "Triangle." "RITRATTI's padded triangle bra is the ideal bra for women who find underwire bras to be uncomfortable, but want a bra that will support and shape their breasts." -- which is exactly what I said. OH - when they say "padded" its not really that padded. Its probably only a centimeter thick, which is nothing compared to Victoria Secret. So if you're looking for ultra paddedness, this not for you.

Cons of the traditional underwire: your health. Women, you need circulation.

Hi all,
Here's the low down on what we women think of three panel boxers.
First, for those of you who do not know what I three panel boxers are... here is a brief description. These boxer shorts are constructed with only three pieces of fabric. The front, has two panels, one for the rightside and one for the leftside, which are sewn together. On the back, there is only one panel, where the right and left side are cut as one piece of fabric. Although three panels are maintain the majority of the marketshare on men's boxers, there is nothing more unattractive and non- manly. Why do you ask? 3P boxers (short for three panel) are frumpy and just not flattering. They de-emphasis the butt... making it frumpy butt. And my man will in no way have a frumpy butt.

Four panel boxers lay the fabric exactly where God wanted it to be. All of our boxers are four panel boxers. If your man is requesting three- panel (most of them don't know any better because they never check out their butt in the mirror... well most of them don't) take a photo & show him how aweful it looks. Thats just my take on it.. and yes, we will forever & always have four panel boxers - I want men to show off their butts... why not? We do ;) So tonight, as he puts on his boxers for bedtime, check him out.. see whether or not he's got the frumpy butt thing going on. Getting sleeply.. ta ta

The other day, my man & I were walking on Rodeo after grabbing a bite at Mulberry Pizza. Of course, I decide to pop into Brooks Brothers & check out their boxers. It was packaged in plastic making it impossible to see the cut, so I decided to take them home. And I can happily say that our boxers are cut nothing like theirs. Its funny, because I remember their boxers use to be made much better than now. Of course all underwear companies have outsourced to China, except for us... and some of them have found some pretty creative ways at reducing costs such as by skimping on the fabric. (Which we do not do!) The Brooks Brothers Boxers have an exposed elastic, and the cut is quite old manish.. way to much room! Also its a three panel- which I really don't like. The three panel makes you look like your wearing a diaper, which is so not sexy. My man has a pretty happenin butt and a four panel boxer short ensures that its definition is at its fullest. (If that makes sense). I also find, that, well....when he wears these boxers underneath his suits, it makes his butt look better. No wedgies. (lol). Its important! Especially if hes going to meetings. He's not the boxer- brief type, so its perfect. For suits, we recommend our luxury line, any of the novelty prints are not really suitable to wear underneath a suit- why? The fabric is a heavier cotton, more for pajama wearing boxers. Anyways, so.. Brooks Brothers prices their boxers at about $19 to $45 dollars. $45 for their luxury boxers. Their site looks pretty good though, I will say. I just don't know why their boxers are so big, and the fabric - not feelin it. They use to be better.

Dahlia's Triple Coconut Cream Pie

Been dreaming about this pie ever since our Seattle trip. Dahlia Dahlia why can't you come to LA~! Then, upon suggestion of my man, I decide to google this infamous pie and viola! Not only does the recipe pop up, but also a freakin video! There is a God. So, today I will show you the recipe, the video, some images of "the pie." And we will see if, I can infact, make one. I know, this has nothing to do with underwear, but it does have everything to do with happiness.. euphoric happiness, and maybe some cha cha lovin afterwards.. only upon successful completion of this project. Can't Wait!

Triple coconut cream pie

(Makes one 9-inch pie, serves about 6-10)
Slightly modified from the recipe in Tom Douglas’ Seattle Kitchen cookbook

For the coconut pie shell:
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into small dice
2 teaspoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/3 cup ice water, or more if needed

For the coconut pastry cream:
2 cups milk
2 cups sweetened shredded coconut (I used 1 1/2 cups)
1 vanilla bean, split in half lengthwise
2 large eggs
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, softened

For whipped cream:
2 1/2 cups heavy cream, chilled (I used 1 1/2 cups)
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

For Garnish:
2 ounces unsweetened “chip” or large-shred coconut (about 11/2 cups) or sweetened shredded coconut, toasted in a 350°F for 7-8 minutes
Chunks of white chocolate (4 to 6 ounces, to make 2 ounces of curls)

For the coconut pie shell:

In a food processor, put all the ingredients, besides water. Pulse until you get coarse crumbs. Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, pulsing once after each addition, until dough holds together when pressed between fingers. (The dough will not form a ball or even clump together in processor—it will be loose.)

Dump the dough out onto a large sheet of plastic wrap, press into a disc, cover with plastic wrap, and chill for 30-60 minutes.

Roll dough on a floured surface into a 12- to 13-inch circle. Ease the dough gently (don’t stretch) into a 9-inch pie pan (I used a tart pan), trim the excess. Chill at least 1 hour before baking.

Preheat oven to 400°. Place a sheet of aluminum foil or parchment paper in the pie crust, extending over edges, and fill with dried beans, rice, or pie weights. Bake for 20-25 minutes until rim is golden. Remove from oven; discard foil and beans, and return piecrust to oven. Bake for 10-12 more minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven, and cool completely on a wire rack.

For the coconut pastry cream:

Combine the milk and coconut in a medium saucepan. Scrape the seeds from the vanilla bean and add both the seeds and pod to the milk mixture. Place the saucepan over medium-high heat and stir occasionally until the mixture almost comes to a boil.

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and flour until well combined. Temper the eggs (to keep them from scrambling) by pouring about 1/3 cup of the scalded milk into the egg mixture while whisking. Then add the warmed egg mixture to the saucepan of milk and coconut. Whisk over medium-high heat until the pastry cream thickens and begins to bubble. Keep whisking until the mixture is very thick, 4 to 5 minutes more.

Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add the butter and whisk until it melts. Remove and discard the vanilla pod. Transfer the pastry cream to a bowl and place it over a bowl of ice water. Stir occasionally until it is cool. Place a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the pastry cream to prevent a crust from forming and refrigerate until completely cold. The pastry cream will thicken as it cools. When the pastry cream is cold, fill the prebaked pie shell with it, smoothing the surface.

For the whipped cream:

In an electric mixer with the whisk, whip the heavy cream with the sugar and vanilla on medium speed. Gradually increase the speed to high and whip to peaks that are firm enough to hold their shape. Fill a pastry bag fitted with a star tip with the whipped cream and pipe it all over the surface of the pie, or spoon it over. (I used the spoon method. Much easier and faster. Less time to wait for the eating part of the pie)

For Garnish:

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spread the coconut chips on a baking sheet and toast in the oven, watching carefully and stirring once or twice, since coconut burns easily, until lightly browned, 7 to 8 minutes.

Use a vegetable peeler to scrape about 2 ounces of the white chocolate into curls.

Sprinkle the pie with coconuts and chocolate.

Earlier today on CNBC, they highlighted a company called... Oh I don't remember, but they are the makers of the widely popular, Olympic Red Mittens. (Mittens is a word that we rarely use in Los Angeles). Get these for $10. Canadians however are a little disappointed by the fact that they are made in... CHINA. Yeah, China. The head of the company (again, I dont remember) said that nowadays people are looking for a deal, so if they had infact made these gloves in Canada, it would raise the price to about $20-22, instead of $10. And people would buy less, so... although everyone says they want things to be made at home, the bottom line is, they want to pay as little as possible. Now... about our boxers that are made in the USA, well, more specifically Los Angeles. Do you people care? It seems like you sure do. Our brand sells globally, from Japan to London, even.. Canada! Our Made in Los Angeles ensure you that our boxers are made of the most quality fabrics. We are probably one of the only companies that actually design and produce our boxers in the US, let alone in Los Angeles.

Ready this Valentine's Day?

Well, I'm not. Had all these different ideas planned, but of course have had little time to do them. So what does an owner of a His & Hers underwear line give to her man for Valentine's Day? Well, for starters she has decided for dinner they are going to Pecorino in Brentwood. There, she will order her own cabonara, and thats it. No need for salad, or appetizers, that would only spoil the yummyness of the guanical (I can't spell & its so late) and pecorino cheese. Can't wait. And he'll.. order.. the same. Its the one dish that we truly cannot share. (He seems to have a way with eating all the bacon - just kidding) Anywho, as a gift- well, I was hoping to be a little creative and make him some underwear. Seriously. We'll see if I have time tomorrow.. which I should. If & when he reads this, he probably won't be too thrilled to know that I am telling you - eh, who cares! Right?

Sleepy.. I tend to babble when I'm tired. I've been hibernating since the Valentines Day flurry. Have had NO CONTACT with any friends (Not even on the telephone). Yeah, pretty intense. Its kinda nice though - almost like mediating in a weird way. Supposedly the top blogs say I need to give you guys a photo.. or something to make my blog look interesting... here's me earlier today.

Dunno. I will say though, today at Peets, some lady came in with counterfeit money. Apparently she was on their "list." My question is, Why didn't they call the cops!?!?!? Helloooooo. It was a $100 bill, and it looked pretty good. How they knew? It was missing that skinny plastic strip-- the one that you can see when you hold your bill up to the light. She looked normal too... older.... they probably felt bad for her. But you know what - I don't. She needs to learn her lesson. And where is she getting these from anyways? Its kinda like a roach situation.. you see one.. but you follow it to the main source there are tons. I would have loved to work for the FBI. Hmmm... But if you know me well, theres so much I always want to do. What I've learned is- NOT TO MULTI-TASK! Do one thing, through to completion, then move on to the next.

Yes! Things are winding down on the home front. Lucky couples in love will be enjoying their pretty boxers on V-day. Today, we had an interesting call from a new customer. He's been looking for boxers that are shorter than the norm to wear under skinny jeans. So, we sent him a women's to try out. And let me tell you, hes not the first. We've had quite a few men request the women's and they love them. I will say though, the slot- well, isn't that big. :| The slot in front anyways. Many a people have suggested I start a line of these modern boxer fit. Man, we should. Hoping by Christmas. OK OK OK fine, sooner. Grrrr....

The first time I realized that men love wearing our womens boxer was... well.. when I accidentally left a pair at my friends Hans house - who by the way is no longer my friend.. but thats another story. Anyways. So when we were friends, and when I just started the company, I brought over the first a his & hers set - in pink of course. Was so excited about them. As I leave, he suggests I leave him a pair to test out. In my flurry (I'm usually in a flurry), I leave the women's boxer instead of the mens - of course I do!

Its not until daaays later that I realize this, call him up, and immediately he says "I love them I love them I love them! I've been looking for shorter boxers and these are perfect."

The second time I realized that men love wearing our women's boxer was... when I was hanging out with the infamous photographer Patrick Hoelck. He had the same request, "I want the women's boxer." Have yet to send him a pair (Sorry Patrick :)

I guess this is a sign.

Taking a deep breath. Feels so good. Just finishing up my day. Visited the our fabulous embroiderer, Lana. She is AMAZING. Everyone, whos anyone, uses her - why? because she is damn good. So yes, we do not do our monogramming in-house. We send them to Lana & she works her beautiful magic. I'm very fortunate to have her apart of our business. The sweetest woman ever.

Dry Cappuccino with whole milk. My daily ritual. Love it. Slowly coming back to civilization. Valentine's Day was so busy for us. Lots of last minute shoppers too (tisk tisk). SO I'm sitting here at Peets and I get the "My oh my there are such beautiful women in Studio City." I'm slightly tempted to take a photo of myself to show you how god awful I look. My Pre-yoga attire, post wake up hair, with of course, my frumpy mom-sweater (its just so warm!). Anywho - I won't take a photo. I will tell you though, the one person, the one and only person who has an unlimited archive of unsightly - what the - photos of yours truly-- Jinaboo. (But I've got photos of her too- lol). Friends since we were wee little (18). Ok- fast forward. So now thinking of my post-late-new years resolution. Inspired by the movie Jules & Julia (I think thats the title). I've decided to finally become a responsible adult and blog my progress in my company. I have what 300 daysish. It will be interesting to actually see & document the growth. What do I like on men? Oh gezz.. How can I begin? Its all tells a story.. the underwear. Why is it so important? Well, its the one thing that only so few (hopefully only one other) people will be privledged enough to see. Right? And the fact that no one (in this case, if you are single) will ever see your underwear- people are more free to wear whatever they want - with no judgment. So when those pants do come off-- its the real deal. So it better be good.

The worst is.... ready for this? Tighty Whities. Come onnnn... are we still being dressed by our mother. Those tight undies are just so aweful looking. Unless you are gay. Gay men look great in them, but.. thats cuz their bodies are you know.. always hot looking. Thats another thing - why are gay men so beautiful?! Thats another blog. Anyways- back to underwear.

Then you have the boxer brief- which, I do like.. again, on the right body. But I will say of all the various types of underwear. I love the thong the most - JK ! EW get out of here! Yuck. No thongs on men please.

Boxers or the boxer short. I looooove seeing my man in boxers. Its just a very manly, 100% alpha, no metro sexualness, kinda underwear. Its says, I'm a man in every way. I'm not really a fan of tight articles of clothing on men. Its not my thing. Except for socks. Socks are ok ;)

I'm in Hollywood -- pulling out of a parking structure.. and this clean, and young homeless man comes over and asks me for a ride. I say- "No, I can't give you a ride." There was no, I'm sorry, or any type of sympathy- it was just a firm, straight forward..No. So what does he do? He opens the door & jumps in my car! Hollywood is so amazing isnt it? Its harder than it looks, and completely worth the excitement. Ehem... as I'm about to explain. Thats the interesting part of being single, new encounters--normally, I would say with the opposite sex, but in this case, I'll just say, new encounters and leave it at that. So my friend calls me up & says, "Taliny... Ta-li-ny! Have you ever done a hand stand?" Me- "Yes, helloooo Yoga whore here."Friend- "Well, guess what I did last night??"
By the tone of her voice, I already knew. She had a hot little date last night. :| So tonight, do a little handstand. Just for fun. Baby Boom Boom

In New York still. Babies, more specifically, newborn babies, everywhere I turn. So adorable. Let me tell ya, no matter how serious my day is, the moment I see a baby, I smile. (Yes Jina, I said smile). Its on par with my reaction to tiny puppies in the window- does that sound bad? Anyways, today at Doma Cafe, saw three of them in the span of 7 minutes! (Babbies, not puppies). My theory, the recession has led couples to resort to other forms of... entertainment. Why go to the movies and spend $50 for an hour of temporary gratification. When instead, rent a movie for $5.00 & then have a little nookie action. Right? And nookie is a wonderful thing. It relieves stress, lowers high blood pressure, promotes blood flow... more couples should consistently nookiefy themselves. If everyone would have more sex, the world would be a much happier place. So stay tuned ... we may be in for another Baby Boom Boom.

Hi all, Still in NYC. Fashion shows, parties, and yummy pomodoro pizza, but I sure do miss my man - damn.

Of course, time away is always good. When was the last time you missed him so much you just wanted to squeeze his head off? He feels the same- but worse. When traveling, you're bombarded with a plethora of distractions. Him? O, he's still in the same world, without you. Big fat void.

What to do? Aside from the late night I miss you calls, send him a yes, I miss you gift. Don't send him a postcard. In his lifetime, I'm sure's hes received his fair share. Remember to think outside of the box. For a little inspiration, heres a mini list of my favorites.

1) Food Such a yummy way to share your experience. Example, I just enjoyed the most delectable coffee from La Columbe in Tribeca. Mailing him yummy coffee beans, so he can enjoy the same coffee while I'm away.
2) The Handwritten Letter A real hand written letter, not an email, not a postcard. I classify postcards as an easy way out. They're cheesy, touristy, and offer limited writing space. Emails, too much the norm. Letters are concrete, romantic and oh so classic. Handwrite it & spray a little perfume ~ it'll spark up the memory in his olfactory system for sure. ;)
3) Anything Underwear Related More for the adventurous & mischievously curious. Who wouldn't want a little sex me up reminder? Accompanied with a little note - make it short & sweet, spur up the imagination.

Make Up Sex - Give It To Me

I'm all for arguing. Forget that passive aggressive nonsense - tell them exactly how you feel. Nothing is worse than harboring angry feelings deep inside, waiting & hoping that the other party can read your mind. Guess what? They can't. Your reward for being oh-so brutally honest : Make up sex. Its on my list of the top 10 moments of bedtime action. And why is make up sex so good? If you have to ask - you haven't had it yet. I categorize it somewhat as... a sports activity. Get thrown around, pushed up against the wall... well, you get the picture. Its the best way to reconcile any argument really. If you live together, where else are you going go? The couch? Pleaaaasseee (pronounced : Pla- ee-seeee) Lets make it a win win situation.

How do you initiate the make up sex? First, be sure to let out all of your thoughts & feelings. Don't hold anything in. We don't want to revisit the same argument over & over again. Then, attack. Thats right, I said attack. Trust me - its hot. The rest will just happen naturally. So yes, tonight - why not bitch about something.

Turns out these two combined are a positive leading economic indicator, signaling a recovery - who knew. The reason? Apparently, when times are tough, men are so selfless... they skimp on buying new underwear, which is probably why women end up buying underwear for men as gifts. Its an oh so sweet/ yet polite way of saying, "I love you, but really those old man boxers of yours from 95 have to go." Its not so cute when your boxers have about five different holes down the middle of the crotch area. Right? Especially when you're over the age of 25--- BUT, when men do have the mulah to treat themselves right, no holes - amazing. I guess, if you think about it... underwear is not just an economic indicator for our nation's economy, but also an economic indicator of your man's wallet. So take a peek at your lover's boxers, just to see. Holes = hes not economically ready. No holes = Hes set, dine wherever you want. Tip for you guys out there: Throw out those old boxers -- its bad Sex Me Up Karma.
